Steve Percy BSc. (Engineering), MBA, JD
Chairman
Steve is a US citizen and is one of the leading figures in the oil industry after a long career at BP, latterly as President and CEO of BP North America and formerly as Group Treasurer. Since retiring from BP he has served as the head of Phillips Gasoline's Refining, Marketing and Transportation Company, and visited as a Professor of Corporate Strategy and International Business at the University of Michigan Graduate School of Business.

During his tenure at BP Steve was asked by President Clinton to Co-Chair his Climate Change Task Force. Steve has continued his environmental work as Coordinating Lead Author of the United Nations Millenium Ecosystems project – one of the most important UN environmental initiatives.

Steve has current US public company experience: He is a member of the Board of Directors of Omnova Solutions Inc. and is Chair of its Audit Committee, and is also Non-executive Chairman of Wavefront Energy and Environmental Services Inc. Steve has an MSc. in Mechanical Engineering from RPI, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctorate from Cleveland Marshall College of Law. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar.

   
Lady Barbara Judge
Lady Barbara Judge BA, JD

ChairmaN OF THE ADVISORY BOARD
The Hon. Barbara Judge is a US citizen and is a qualified attorney. She has broad commercial and investment experience in the UK and USA and established and led a £100 million London-listed technology investment company.

Lady Judge holds a number of Senior Board positions including Chairman of the UK Atomic Energy Authority and Vice Chairman of Friends Provident. She is the Senior Independent Director at Quintain Estates and Development and is a Director of PA Consulting. Lady Judge also has wide governance and regulatory experience.

She is a former Commissioner of the SEC, she is Deputy Chairman of the Financial Reporting Council, a Director of the Department of Constitutional Affairs, and Chairman of the Professional Standards Advisory Board of the Institute of Directors.

Chairman, Oxenbridge Capital – an investment bank focussed on large-scale capital projects in the Renewable Energy Sector. 25 years experience in financing large-scale generating and renewable energy projects. Significant experience as CEO and Chairman of early stage venture-backed companies.

Qualified Engineer and Accountant with extensive knowledge of biomass conversion technologies. 20 years experience in investment banking, financial control and strategic planning. Successful entrepreneur, with 9 year’s CEO experience of building and selling-on venture-backed companies.

   
Roger Putnam
Roger Putnam

Non-Executive Director
Roger is one of the leading figures in the automobile industry and a strong promoter of ethanol fuelled cars. After nearly 40 years in the Motor Industry with Lotus, Jaguar and Ford, Roger was made Chairman of Ford, Europe in 2002.

He retired at the end of 2005 but remains Chairman of the Vehicle Manufacturers Consortium, a Director of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, a Member of the CBI Presidents Committee, and a Non-Executive Director of Halcyon Days Ltd. Roger’s vast experience in the transport sector was recognised by his appointment to the UK’s recently established Energy Research Committee, reporting to the Chancellor and under the Chairmanship of Sir David King, the Chief Scientific Advisor to the UK Government.

Allen Thomas is US citizen and is a Qualified Lawyer in both New York and England. 25 years experience of commercial law, with a focus on contract negotiation, M&A and capital raisings. He has been Chairman and Non-Executive Director of a number of London-listed companies where he Chaired variously the Audit, Nomination, Remuneration and Governance committees.

   
Ellen Strahlman
Dr. Ellen Strahlman MSc (Harvard), MD, MHSc

Non-Executive Director
Ellen Strahlman is a US citizen and a Doctor of Medicine with a Masters in Health Sciences. Extensive experience as a General Surgeon and in Occupational Health and Safety in chemicals-based manufacturing. 15 years experience in drug development and commercialisation with outstanding knowledge of licensing and patenting biotechnology products and processes.

   
Keith Auckland
Keith Auckland MA (Oxon), ACA

Finance Director
Qualified with Price Waterhouse and left as a manager to establish his own practice. After eight years sold the business to Grant Thornton and following four years as a partner with them left to take on a series of CFO roles with growth business. Has over 20 years experience in the SME sector, mainly with growing owner managed or venture capital backed companies but also in a company doctor role.

   
Pat Mahoney

Advisor to the Board
Pat Mahoney is a US citizen and President and CEO of Energy Answers Corp., the leading US renewable energy engineering firm. 30 years experience developing environmentally sound solutions for water, wastewater, sludge and solid waste problems and urban renewal projects, and designed, built and operated the US’s most successful and environmentally friendly waste-to-energy plant, a $400 million project.
